Gas prices down $1.78, diesel up $0.92
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline and an increase in the price of diesel, effective Thursday, September 14, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $118.62 and $121.46 per litre, respectively, down by $1.78 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $113.04 per litre following an increase of $0.92, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is up by $1.87, and will be sold for $120.62 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene decreased in price by $0.14 and will be sold for $97.31 per litre. Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $47.33 per litre, up by $0.62 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $52.08 per litre after a decrease of $1.37.
Marketing companies will add their mark-up to the announced prices.
