Vybz Kartel hospitalised
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Incarcerated entertainer, Vybz Kartel, was today rushed to the University Hopsital of the West Indies after complaints of excuriciating pain, which is believed to be linked to kidney infection.
Reports reaching OBSERVER ONLINE are that Kartel, whose given name is Adidjah Palmer, fell ill on Sunday and was attended to by the medical staff at the Tower Street Adult Correctional Centre in Kingston, who opted to send him to the UHWI for further treatment.
The dancehall deejay was given a life sentence at the Home Circuit Court in Kingston in March 2014 for involvement in the murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams.
He will be eligible for parole after 35 years.
