Kudos to National Chest Hospital
Dear Editor,
The National Chest Hospital’s management and entire staff deserve a round of applause for their professional and excellent service to the public. Their staff’s labour of love, gentleness, courtesy, and speedy services show high leadership by management.
I speak from experience as an outpatient with muscular dystrophy who uses a wheelchair.
The ambience at the hospital is admirable and unbelievable and makes one feel better just looking at the beautiful flower gardens, manicured lawns, and clean surroundings. This is remarkable.
Another thing that is commendable is the cosy shed for wheelchair users while awaiting their transportation; also the absence of noisy clinics and vendors on the compound.
I don’t see this kind of leadership at the other government-operated hospitals in Kingston.
I would encourage the management and staff at those other hospitals to emulate the services of the National Chest Hospital.
Well done, good and faithful servants.
