ONLINE READERS COMMENT: The PNP shadow cabinet is inspiring
Dear editor,
For the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) youth arm to slam the People’s National Party’s (PNP) shadow cabinet and label it “uninspirable” is laughable at best, and shows that the members of the youth arm of the JLP are suffering from self serving arrogance, ignorance and illiteracy.
In a country where the population stands at two point odd million, 1270-odd murdered since the start of 2017 under a JLP-led Andrew Holness government, which promised the people of Jamaica peace and safety, the poster child for “uninspirable” would be none other than Andrew Holness.
Last time I checked the PNP was in opposition, so rather than talk about the PNP, the youth arm of the JLP needs to first hold their god and king Andrew Holness accountable.
Parading and profiling as prime minister is “uninspirable”.
Placing someone who is incompetent as Minister of National Security is uninspireable.
Not holding Audley Shaw accountable for running up a eight point odd million dollar phone bill is uninspireable.
A prime minister who does not think he is accountable to anyone is uninspireable.
A man who claims to love his country and his people and who claims to have their best interest at heart, yet chooses to have his business in another country is uninspiring.
For members of the youth arm of the JLP to be focusing on the PNP when so much is going wrong under the JLP speaks volumes to the level of ignorance and illiteracy within the JLP and under a JLP led government, that in and of itself is not only uninspiring but a cause for great concern.
