Science ministry spearheads islandwide renewable energy survey
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Ministry of Science, Energy and Technology says it has engaged Business Research and Agricultural Consultants (BRAC) to prepare a renewable energy penetration survey throughout Jamaica.
In a press advertisement published yesterday (Sunday, October 1) the ministry said the purpose of the survey is to facilitate policy assessment, evaluation and development of the energy sector in the island.
The ministry advised that BRAC employees will be visiting homes throughout Jamaica requesting renewable energy data during the period ending October 18.
The public is being asked to facilitate the consultants by providing the information requested.
“The employees have been provided with company ID,” the ministry said in the advertisement.
BRAC Consultants is a management firm with head offices in Kingston .
