Shoppers at Kohler, the high-end bathroom and kitchen accessories store in Kingston, will benefit from massive discounts, starting at 5:00 pm today, when Jamaica Observer Takes Style Out begins across the island.

“Every item in the store will be discounted, and we’re going to be offering up to 70 per cent off on some items,” Tile City director Jaleel Handal told the Observer.

“One of the specific items that will be 70 per cent off is a round conical vessel. The original price is $50,000, but the sale price will be $15,000,” Handal added.

Kohler, which is available in Jamaica through Tile City on Constant Spring Road, is one of the main sponsors of the five-hour discount shopping frenzy that helps to boost retail sales in the usually slow months ahead of the consumer-driven Christmas season.

Handal said, while both Kohler and Tile City will offer discount prices throughout the day, the bigger sale prices will kick in at 5:00 pm and, at that time, the Kohler showroom will be the only one open.

“We will also be giving away some accessories such as touchless flushes, shower heads, etc,” Handal said, adding that as a gesture to customers the store will offer refreshments and ice cream.
