#TSO2017 sales picking up in MoBay
ST JAMES, Jamaica — Sales are picking up in stores participating in Jamaica Observer Takes Style Out (TSO), even as ominous clouds loom over the skies of the resort city of Montego Bay, St James.
The Observer West team spotted people streaming into stores at the Fairview Shopping Centre this afternoon.
Assistant Manager of Fontana Pharmacy, Elaine Scott, expressed that there has been a constant flow of shoppers streaming into the facility where discounts run from 25 per cent to 75 per cent.
“Business has been steady so far,” Scott declared.
Over at Lloyd’s Department Store, Anthony Pearson noted that business is steadily building up.
“We are off to a slow start but we are hopeful that as night progressed it will pick up. We hope we will match up to last year’s sales,” Pearson said.
