Sagicor hosts motivational seminar for employees
SAGICOR last weekend hosted a motivational seminar for its team members, with activities culminating Saturday night with a grand “Legacy Ball” which saw eight individuals receiving Legacy Awards for their service to the company.
The awardees were: Donovan Perkins, Randolph McLean, Donovan McCalla, Mavis Ferguson, Bruce Lyn, Mavis Ferguson, Richard Byles, and R Danny Williams.
Dubbed Sagicor Motivational Seminar (SMS), which kicked off on Thursday at the Hyatt Ziva & Zilara Resort in Montego Bay, St James, the event also catered to employees’ family members, Sagicor said in a release yesterday.
The company said the weekend delivered solid sessions, which saw local and international speakers sharing testimonies to motivate and inspire the team members.
Speakers over the three-day event, according to Sagicor, included: international speakers Tony Gordon, past president of Million Dollar Round Table and Top of the Table member;and Eric Boles, author and former NFL Player and president and founder of The Game Changers. The company said the line-up of local speakers included: Opposition Spokesperson for Youth and Culture Damion Crawford; Dr William Mahfood, managing director, Wisynco Group, and Dr Nigel Clarke, Jamaica’s ambassador of economic affairs and deputy chair of the Economic Growth Council.
“There was no shortage of fun and inspiration over the three days, with a themed party each night to end each day; Thursday evening was circus-themed ‘Cirque’; Friday night was a glow-in-the-dark themed party and Saturday night was the fancy Legacy Ball,“ the release said.
