Up-and-coming singer Di Ruption said he is banking on his latest single, called Trodding Alone. Since its release in April, the entertainer said the track has been gaining traction and has been endorsed by almost everyone who listens.

“Trodding Alone was inspired by my surroundings and what I saw growing up with a lot of my childhood friends losing their lives. I felt alone and this [resulted] in me always being by myself in a reflective mode,” he said.

The St Thomas-born artiste said he is confident that the song will will become a hit because of his commanding voice and lyrical delivery.

“Like my other releases, this song expresses sheer emotion through my lyrical delivery. It is delivered in a style that will send its listeners in a deep meditation, whether happy or sad,” he said.

Trodding Alone was distributed by Tuff Gong International and produced by Elite Generations Record.

Di Ruption placed third in the Red Stripe Big Buss Competition in July of this year.

He is known for other songs like Campari and Malta, Vanity Things and Mommy Seh. He is currently working on an eight-track EP slated to be released in January 2018.
