Montague announces members of new FLA board
KINGSTON, Jamaica — National Security Minister Robert Montague a short while ago announced the members of the new Board for the Firearm Licensing Authority.
The new board, which is chaired by National Security Advisor Major General (Ret’d) Antony Anderson, will be in place for three years.
According to a release from his ministry, the members of the board are Justice Marva McIntosh, who is a retired Puisne Judge; retired senior superintendent of police, Albert E Edwards; retired civil servant, Ena Rose; and banker, Aneacia Neita.
The previous board resigned after the authority came under intense public scrutiny in July for the alleged issuance of licences to people deemed unfit
