Deadly shooting at stoplight in St James
ST JAMES, Jamaica — Two men are dead and another three are nursing gunshot wounds following last night’s shooting at a stoplight on the Flankers main road in St James.
Dead are 24-year-old Daniel Anglin, otherwise called ‘Dan’, auto repair man of Green Dot, in the area and 20-year-old Sean Titus.
According to police reports, Anglin was driving a Toyota Mark X motorcar with four other men aboard, when gunmen travelling in another motorcar pulled up and opened fire at them.
Anglin reportedly lost control of the vehicle, which crashed and overturned. The incident happened about 9:00 pm.
The police were alerted and all five men were taken to hospital where Anglin and Titus were pronounced dead and the other three were admitted.
