Gas prices up $0.98, diesel up $1.39
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline and diesel, effective Thursday, October 26, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $117.49 and $120.33 per litre, respectively, up by $0.98 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $115.26 per litre following an increase of $1.39, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is up by $0.91, and will be sold for $120.21 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene increased in price by $0.21 and will be sold for $94.64 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $49.62 per litre, down by $1.32 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $54.01 per litre after a decrease of $0.91.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
