Beaches Ocho Rios fetes repeat guests at ‘Reunion Week’
MORE than 100 returning guests were feted in style last week as Beaches Ocho Rios rolled out the red carpet during ‘Reunion Week 2017’.
The event is staged annually as the resort recognises and honours members of its loyalty programme who keep coming back year after year.
“From the moment they arrived at the resorts to be greeted by management and staff with renditions of ‘Welcome back home’, it was non-stop fun and frolic and rekindling of old friendships,” a Beaches release said.
“We were blown away by the reception. Every year it keeps getting better and better,” the release quoted many- time repeat guests Corey and Brittany Hall. “We keep coming back to Beaches because of the tremendous service and great attitude of the staff. We had an amazing time and this year has been extra spectacular. We appreciate the effort that the resort puts out for its guests, making us feel special and right at home. We definitely feel a part of the Beaches Ocho Rios family,” they said.
A beaming Brian Roper, general manager of Beaches Ocho Rios, stressed the importance of repeat business to the hotel and that the resort went all out to make this year the best ever. Guests, he said, were blown away by the magnitude of the events staged and the personalised service by team members.
“Returning guests are an integral part of the Sandals business, and the Loyalty Programme gives us the perfect vehicle to recognise and thank these guests directly for their continued support,” Roper said.
In addition to a lavish, welcome cocktails event, a day cruise and picnic, beach bonfire, and Sesame Street breakfast were some of the highlights of the week.
According to Beaches Ocho Rios’ Loyalty and Travel Manager Tahnee Chung, this year’s activities were upgraded to provide a fresh and exciting itinerary in line with the exciting renovations and enhancements that have taken,” she said.
The week culminated with a grand farewell beach party, during which special gifts were presented to guests.
