HAWAIIAN band The Green debuts at number one on this week’s Billboard Reggae Album chart. They earn a third chart-topper with Marching Orders.

Released on October 20 by Easy Star Records, the 14-track album is also the fifth charting title for the six-member outfit.

The Green previously charted with 2010’s The Green (number three); 2011’s Love & Affection EP (number two) and Ways and Means (four weeks at number one); and 2013’s Hawaii 13, which sold 4,960 copies in its first week to enter at number one.

Among the guests on Marching Orders are Busy Signal, Eric Rachmany of Rebelution, and J Boog.

Stony Hill by Damian Marley remains at number two, while last week’s number one, Lily of Da Valley by Jesse Royal, falls to number three.

Rebelution’s Falling Into Place moves up one spot to number four, while New York-based The Frightnrs debuts at number five with More To Say (Versions), the dub version to their 2016 chart-topper Nothing More To Say.

Sizzla’s I’m Yours falls to number six, while Chronology by Chronixx remains at number seven.

Debuting at number eight (the group’s lowest entry since first charting in 2009) is SOJA with Poetry in Motion. Released on October 20, Poetry in Motion contains 11 tracks and is their group’s fifth ‘charter’, following 2009’s Born in Babylon, 2012’s Strength To Survive, 2014’s Amid The Noise and Haste, and 2016’s Live in Virginia.

Falling from six to nine is Know No Better (EP) by Major Lazer, while re-entering the chart at number 10 is The Science of Numbers by Project 432.

Live at Red Rocks by Rebelution rises from 13 to 11, while new at number 12 is the compilation Studio One Supreme: Maximum 70s and 80s Early Dancehall Sounds.

Lost in Paradise by Common Kings is down to number 13, while Reggae Gold 2017 slips from eight to 14.

The Best of Jimmy Cliff completes the tally at number 15.
