Tropical Storm Rina forms east of Bermuda
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The 17th tropical storm of the 2017 Hurricane Season formed over the open Atlantic east of Bermuda last night, according to the Meteorological Service of Jamaica.
TS Rina is currently located east of Bermuda and is moving northward, according to the Met Office.
Rina is of no a threat to land at this time.
Meanwhile, a trough over the central Caribbean is expected to continue across the region for the next few days, while an area of low pressure is expected to influence weather across the island later this week.
The Met Service said isolated showers across section of northern parishes are expected this morning, while isolated showers are expected across some sections of southern parishes, this afternoon.
