Islandwide rainfall expected today
KINGSTON, Jamaica — A trough across the central Caribbean including Jamaica, is expected to remain across the region for the next three days and influence weather conditions across the island.
According to the Meteorological Service of Jamaica, the island should expect periods of light to moderate and at times heavy showers and thunderstorms in sections of most parishes, especially after midday today and Friday.
Isolated showers are expected across sections of eastern parishes and partly cloudy elsewhere this morning.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are forecasted across sections of most parishes this afternoon, while lingering showers and thunderstorms are expected across sections of eastern and central parishes tonight.
