No collapse on Orange Street, downtown Kingston — NWA
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The National Works Agency says there are no issues with Orange Street in downtown Kingston as reported by the police yesterday.
Communication and customer services manager at the NWA, Stephen Shaw, when contacted by OBSERVER ONLINE a short while ago, said checks and surveys conducted by his team do not indicate that a section of the roadway had collapsed.
Shaw, however, noted that there were drainage issues on neighbouring roads of Heywood and Queen Street, where teams are currently examining the cause.
He stated that there are also issues on Spanish Town Road which will be addressed later today.
