Digicel puts big prizes in weekly Christmas giveaways

DIGICEL Jamaica Thursday kicked off the giving season with multiple chances for customers to win cash, home theatre systems, smart TVs and Quick Pick bundles this Christmas.

“With more entries per customer, everyone will stand a great chance of winning amazing prizes every week in the ‘Christmas is Better with Digicel’ promotion, from November 23 to December 31, 2017,” the telecoms company said in a release.

“Each week two lucky customers will win a grand prize of $500,000 each. There’ll be one winner each of a Samsung S8 smartphone, a 42-inch smart TV and MiFi dongle with free data. One hundred customers will win Quick Pick bundles daily.

“Everyone can look forward to the joy of winning these fantastic prizes and we are very happy to be spreading Christmas cheer to even more customers this year,” said Michelle Anderson, Director of Retail and Distribution at Digicel.

To make it easier for customers to win this year, every top-up from $100 up will receive five entries in the weekly draw. An equal amount will be given to customers who talk for 10 minutes or more on a dialled call, make or receive an international call, pay their postpaid, broadband or home TV & Internet bill in full and on-time; purchase a handset or SIM; or purchase a Quick Pick bundle.

Added to the exciting Christmas bonus are five prizes of three months’ free Digicel TV and home internet service for new sign-ups and existing customers; plus, a chance for them to win a 55 TV with a home entertainment system towards the end of the promotion.

“Giving customers a chance to win things that can make their Christmas brighter is part of what we do to deliver an amazing overall experience. We’ve put together the most delightful gifts for customers to win, so now the only thing they’ll need is a little Christmas luck,” Anderson said.
