3. Yallahs pipeline now back in operation — NWC
The National Water Commission’s (NWC) 19-mile long Yallahs pipeline that serves residents in the Llandewey Valley in St Thomas as well as thousands more in Kingston and St Andrew via the Mona Reservoir and the Mona Treatment Plant, is now back in operation. Full story here
4. Five Jamaicans detained during US immigration sweep
The United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) says several Caribbean nationals were among 55 immigrants detained in New York during a six-day operation conducted by ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO). Full story here
