Wealth 500 Returns This Holiday

Come Boxing Day, discerning holiday partygoers can expect super-premium luxury at the sophomore staging of the swanky Wealth 500 do. It’s the dictate of Garth Walker, co-principal of the eagerly awaited biannual series, which debuted on May 27 at the Hope Zoo as a qualified success, with hundreds registering support.

For its second staging, Walker co-hosted a launch event last Thursday night on the deck of the Terra Nova Hotel and All-Suites’ Regency Bar & Lounge for sponsors and ambassadors, alongside his co-promoter Ryan Reid. Walker outlined that Wealth 500 — so named as the party will be restricted to 500 guests — will feature three bar and wine stations, a Tru-Juice refresher station, a Kremi-branded ice cream lounge serving virgin and non-virgin milkshakes as well as other sweet treats, and a smorgasbord of eats from chef/caterer Jacqui Tyson, Rainforest Seafoods, Murray’s Fish & Jerk Hut, 876 The Terrace and Ribbiz.

Additionally, Walker revealed that Adam & Eve Day Spa will house an easy comfort lounge which will provide head and shoulder massages, an on-site barber to offer quick ‘line-ups’ for the gents, and a make-up artist for touch-ups for the ladies.

“From the first event in May, we had a winner and patrons were very receptive,” a confident Walker recalled of Wealth 500’s first run. Patronage at the all-inclusive event, he added, distinguishes itself in a sea of Yuletide parties on account of what he deems “the fabulous dress code”.

“People feel the need to dress up, and while the ladies expectedly came dressed to the nines, even the males represented well in the style department. It gave the nature of the correlation of the event,” Walker surmised.

With the event’s December 26th date already pencilled in on our social calendar, we hit rewind to the Wealth 500 launch.
