Road closures to facilitate Denham Town ZOSO Fun Run on Sunday
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Members of the public are being advised that some roads in the Denham Town community will be closed to facilitate the staging of the ZOSO Denham Town Fun Run on Sunday, December 17 starting at 3:00 pm.
The Joint Force operating in the Zones of Special Operations (ZOSO), Denham Town in collaboration with the Jamaica Social Investment Fund and other partnering entities will be hosting the ZOSO Denham Town Fun Run.
The Fun Run is a 3K road race within the zone, with additional activities to include a kiddie’s corner, vibes corners and a mini concert.
According to the Joint Force, the run is aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles, unity amongst residents, greater co-operation and better relationship between the security forces and residents. The roads will be closed to vehicular traffic at 2:00 pm, starting at the community centre at Race Course Lane.
