Suicide suspected in death of missing 67-y-o man
ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica — A 67-year-old man who went missing on Monday has been found dead, suspected of committing suicide.
He is Mervin Bent otherwise called ‘Puddy’, of Rose Hall, St Elizabeth.
Reports from the Junction police are that about 10:55 pm, residents saw the body hanging by a length of rope from a tree in nearby bushes. The police were alerted, and the scene processed before the body removed to the morgue.
The authorities said they suspect that Bent took his own life on Wednesday.
