16 y-o killed, brother injured in Montego Bay
ST JAMES, Jamaica — A 16 year-old boy was killed and his brother injured when they were pounced upon by unknown assailants in their community of John’s Hall in St James Thursday night.
The dead boy has since been identified as Josh-Lee Newman.
Reports are that about 11:00 pm, the now deceased and his brother were walking along the roadway when a motor car drove up beside them and its occupant/s opened gunfire hitting them.
The police were subsequently summoned and on their arrival the brothers were seen suffering from gunshot wounds.
They were taken to hospital where Newman was pronounced dead and his brother admitted in stable condition.
