Double Murder in Red Hills
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Just two days into the new year, the police were summoned to the scene of a double murder on Stanley Terrace in Red Hills, St Andrew.
The lawmen have identified the deceased as 36-year-old Winston Walters, a taxi operator of Stillwell Road, Kingston 8 and Simone Colleymore, businesswoman of Stanley Terrace in Red Hills, St Andrew.
According to police reports, unknown assailants travelling on motorcycles opened gunfire hitting the two people several times about 4:00 pm yesterday.
The police were summoned and they were taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead.
The lawmen did not disclose further information but said investigations continue.
