Electrical issues disrupt water supply in Portmore, St Andrew, Clarendon and St Ann
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The National Water Commission is advising that single phase and other power supply issues have forced the shutdown of water supply facilities in the parishes of Clarendon, St Catherine, St Andrew and St Ann.
These issues have resulted in the disruption of regular water supply to the following communities: Clarendon: Kellits, Crofts Hill, Good Hope, Tait, Pedro, Rhoden Hall, Guava Ground, Hickery, Comsie, Jericho
St Catherine: Greater Portmore, Naggo Head, Old Braeton, Congreve Park, Silverstone, Portmore Pines, Monza, Daytona, Ascot and West Cumberland
St Andrew: Coopers Hill, Rock Hall, parts of Red Hills, Topper Hill, Mount Atlas, Belvedere Drive, Waugh Hill, Carr Hill, Frazer Crescent, Woodland, Woodland Circle and Walkers Hill
St Ann: Walkerswood, Colegate, Dunnsville, Blackstonege, Dillion Town, Castle Kelly and Tindale.
The company is advising that the Jamaica Public Service Company has been advised of the problems and will be working with the NWC to remedy the situation within the shortest possible time.
