Scorpions continue fightback vs Jaguars
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica Scorpions continued their fightback against Guyana Jaguars and were 133-3 in the second innings of the regional four-day game against Guyana Jaguars at Sabina Park when rain interrupted play Friday afternoon.
The Scorpions are 56 runs ahead with left-hander Assad Fudadin not out on 50 and Paul Palmer yet to get off the mark.
Scores: Scorpions 106 (36.2 ovs) & 133-3 (36 ovs); Jaguars 183 (59.5 ovs).
Earlier, the Jaguars resumed from their overnight score of 75-3 and pushed on to 183 all out. Former West Indies left-hand batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul top-scored with 50, while left-arm finger spinner Nikita Miller grabbed 4-30.
