Holy Family blank Denham Town to claim title
Holy Family defeated Denham 2-0 in the final of the INSPORTS Kingston Primary School Football competition at Boys’ Town Football field on Thursday.
Zaire Doose (18th minute) and Keymani Jackson (37th) scored the goals for Holy Family in a very competitive game, during which Denham Town created chances of their own but failed to make them count.
Meantime, Boys’ Town blanked Windward Road 3-1 in the third-place play-off, with Joshua Bryan (23rd, 30th, 34th) bagging a hat-trick. Matthew Spence (58th) got the consolation goal for Windward Road two minutes from full-time.
Both Kingston finalists have advanced to the national play-offs.
