Hanover bike-taxi operator shot dead
HANOVER, Jamaica — Fifty-two-year-old Lawrence Bowen, a motor bike taxi operator of Bamboo Bottom, Green Island, Hanover, was fatally shot by unknown assailants in his community yesterday.
Reports from the Green Island police are that about 12:40 am, Bowen’s relatives heard explosion and summoned them.
A search of the premises was done and Bowen was found in a shallow part of a river with gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital where death was confirmed.
