Portmore to get new NCB banking and financial services centre
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The NCB Financial Group (NCBFG) is set to open a new multifaceted banking and financial services centre at 13-14 West Trade Way, Portmore, St Catherine next Monday.
Situated in the heart of the sunshine city, the ultra-modern facility will provide banking, insurance and investment services in a one-stop financial centre, NCB said.
The facility will replace NCB’s Portmore branch which will move from 18 West Trade Way where it was temporarily relocated for a year to facilitate upgrades at the original West Trade Way location, the bank said in a release.
The new centre will also house Advantage General Insurance Company, a subsidiary of the NCB Financial Group, which is currently just minutes away from the bank.
The merger of services is a part of the group’s broader customer solutions strategy which includes a holistic approach in meeting customers’ financial needs.
“The building located at 13-14 West Trade Way was in need of renovation, the parking space was limited and we did not offer all our services under one roof. We felt our valued customers deserved more. Now after approximately 12 months of renovation, we are ready to open our doors to our brand new, first class, state-of-the-art financial services centre,” explained Dwight Hyde, Manager at NCB, Portmore branch.
The new NCB Banking and Financial Services Centre, Portmore will additionally feature a spacious open-concept layout, expanded parking facilities, 24-hour Bank on the Go self-service area, and a drive-thru ABM.
NCB said it also has similar centres at Fairview in Montego Bay and Constant Spring in Kingston.
