Jessica Hylton-Leckie, founder and creator of the vegetarian food blog Jessica in the Kitchen, has been nominated for Shiftcon’s 2018 Best Original Photography Award! Out of hundreds of potential candidates, she was chosen as a top 3 finalist. This award expands even beyond food photography, which she is well known for, and encompasses all types of original photography across blogs inclusive of food, lifestyle and travel.

Hylton-Leckie does not yet know which of her hundreds of exquisitely styled photos made the finals but Thursday Food shares a few.

The awards ceremony will take place on February 3, 2018 in Irvine, California. Jessica’s husband Gavin and her parents Lance and Judy Hylton will also be attending with her. She’s very excited for the opportunity and hopes to win the award.
