Quadruple murder in Hermitage, St Andrew; triple in Linstead
KINGSTON, Jamaica — It was a rough Friday night leading into Saturday morning for law enforcement officers as four murders were recorded in the Hermitage area of St Andrew and three in Linstead, St Catherine.Read: Cops identify victims
OBSERVER ONLINE started to receive calls from as early as 4:00 this morning that four men were gunned down late Friday night by gunmen who are as yet unknown in Hermitage.
The names of the four murdered have not been made available but it is understood that one of those murdered was a businessman. In the same murder incident in Hermitage, two men were also shot and injured.
In Linstead, according to a caller, a man, a young male student (age not yet ascertained) of the Bog Walk High School and a female, name and age still unknown, were gunned down.
The police are investigating the seven murders.
