Boyz lead World Cup-bound South Korea 1-0 at half-time
ANTALYA, Turkey — Dane Kelly scored a fifth-minute goal to give Jamaica a 1-0 lead at half-time against South Korea in their friendly international at the Mardan Stadium here a short while ago.
In an evenly-contested first 45 minutes, both teams have threatened each other’s goal, but it was Kelly’s composed control and shot from inside the area that separates the teams.
South Korea are using the match as part of preparations for their participation in the Russia FIFA World Cup, where they will contest Group F with Germany, Mexico and Sweden.
Jamaica, meantime, are building up for the CONCACAF League of Nations, which will kick off later this year.
