Gas prices up $1.17, diesel up $1.83
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline and diesel, effective Thursday, February 1, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $123.89 and $126.73 per litre, respectively, up by $1.17 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $124.53 per litre following an increase of $1.83 while ultra-low sulphur diesel is up by $1.83, and will be sold for $129.07 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene increased in price by $2.58 and will be sold for $107.07 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $44.76 per litre, down by $2.59 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $48.74 per litre after a decrease of $2.39.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
