England Lions tighten grip versus Jamaica XI
KINGSTON, Jamaica — England Lions continue to dominate the three-day warm-up cricket match against a Jamaica Select XI at Sabina Park.
At the lunch break on Tuesday’s second day, the Jamaica team are 92-7 after resuming from their overnight score of 36-4. The Lions had made 263-8 declared on the opening day thanks to Keaton Jennings’ unbeaten 129.

Wicketkeeper Aldaine Thomas, who is not out on 23, is the local team’s top-scorer so far. The Lions’ pacers Toby Roland-Jones, James Porter and Goerge Garton have all taken two wickets.
The Lions are using this game to prepare for three unofficial Test matches against West Indies A.
The first game is scheduled to start February 11 at Trelawny Multi-purpose Stadium.
