Farmer shot dead in Clarendon
CLARENDON, Jamaica —Thirty-two-year-old Natoya Ricketts, a farmer of Alley district in Lionel Town, Clarendon was shot dead by unknown assailants in her community this morning, the police have reported.
Reports from the Lionel Town police are that about 8:00 am, residents stumbled upon Ricketts’ lifeless body in bushes and summoned them.
On arrival of the lawmen, her body was seen with gunshot wound. The scene was processed and the body removed to the morgue pending post mortem examination.
Investigations continue.
