Gas prices down $0.54, diesel down $1.56
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline and diesel, effective Thursday, February 8, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $123.35 and $126.19 per litre, respectively, down by $0.54 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $122.97 per litre following a decrease of $1.56 while ultra-low sulphur diesel is down by $1.26 and will be sold for $127.81 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene decreased in price by $1.52 and will be sold for $105.55 per litre. Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $45.02 per litre, up by $0.26 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $48.59 per litre after an increase of $0.15.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
