Anna-Kay Tomlinson, chef/patron, Miss T’s opened the doors of Di Wine Yaad recently to much fanfare and with family, friends and supporters driving in from all ends of the island to Ochi in support.

The evening’s MC, the affable Brian Roper, kept all in a jovial mood. Father Howard James of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Ocho Rios, blessed the establishment while Miss T’s hubby Dr Osmond Tomlinson paid poetic tribute to his wife. Miss T, who added her own special welcome, shared her culinary journey and spoke of her son Liam, who despite being born with Down Syndrome displayed a brave fearless attitude, provided that needed push for her to begin the entrepreneurial journey nine years ago. The entire Tomlinson family, including son Liam, daughters Ashley and Lauren and husband Osmond, joined Anna-Kay in the official ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the doors of Di Wine Yaad.

Naturally there were copious amounts of wine. DJ Craig Ross kept guests dancing until the wee hours of the morning.
