Spicy Hill seek four straight in TFA Major League
DUANVALE, Trelawny – Spicy Hill SC will go after a fourth-straight win in the Trelawny Football Association Grandeur Transport/Monymusk Rums Major League today when they face Duanvale FC in a Zone two top-of-the-table clash at Duanvale, starting at 3:30 pm.
Spicy Hill SC ran their record to three straight wins on Sunday after beating Invaders SC 3-1 in a rescheduled game.
Zone One leaders Falmouth United will be, away to former champions Salt Marsh United who are yet to earn a point, while Rio Bueno and Friendship FC will meet at Sea Road field in Duncans.
Spicy Hill are off to a good start, having the best overall record in the league with three players — Jerome Cato, Jerome Elliot and Ojay Smith, scoring two goals each.
Duanvale FC are only two points behind and could give Spicy Hill their biggest test of the season so far, with Romane Osbourne seeking to add to his three goals scored.
Falmouth United should get the better of a Salt Marsh United team that have lost all three games played and have given up a league-high 14 goals.
One point separates Friendship FC — who are on four points — and Rio Bueno, both in Zone One, but a win for either side could see the visitors move into the top two on points.
