Weather Update: Rain expected, possible thunderstorms tomorrow and Friday

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Meteorological (met) Service of Jamaica is reporting that a cold front currently across Cuba is expected to move near Jamaica resulting in increased showers and possibly thunderstorms Thursday through to Friday.

The forecast is for conditions associated with this frontal system to affect mainly northern parishes, with possible thunderstorms and showers that may be heavy at times on Thursday but over eastern parishes on Friday.

The Meteorological Service said it will continue to monitor the situation.
