I have been baking for… 14 years
My first Easter bun was baked… Last year, actually. I was always complimented for my fruitcake, and a friend of mine suggested that I try baking a bun for Easter. I tried it and the verdict from family and friends was positive.
I was led to baking… by the Lord. I had just received my US visa and wanted to travel and gain new experiences. So I prayed to the Lord to guide me to and I was directed to Proverbs 31 regarding the virtuous woman. Shortly after that I got a carrot cake recipe from a friend and I decided to try it but add my own style to it. It was well received — and that’s how this new experience came about.
The most challenging aspect of Easter bun baking is… insufficient time.
What makes my Easter bun special is the use… of the best ingredients.
My must-have ingredient for my buns is… Dragon Stout.
