IGL to introduce LNG-powered vehicles to Jamaica
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The IGL Ltd will introduce the first liquefied natural gas (LNG) powered vehicles to Jamaica.
The launch for such a move, which forms part of the company’s strategic plan to reduce its carbon footprint and widen its commitment to creating a safer environment, will officially takes place tomorrow at the Formal Gardens Devon in St Andrew.
Speakers for the event which is scheduled for 5:00pm include Minister of Science Dr Andrew Wheatley; General Manager for IGL, Wayne Kirkpatrick and Wes Edens, founder and Chairman of New Fortress Energy.
