Cops revise closing time for St Catherine businesses
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — The police are reminding persons who live and operate businesses in Linstead, Bog Walk and Spanish Town in St Catherine that closing hours for business establishments have been revised under the state of public emergency in the St Catherine North Division.
According to the Constabulary Communication Unit (CCU), the revised hours for all businesses in Spanish Town, Linstead and Bog Walk are as follows:
• community Recreational Areas by 6:00 pm;
• cook shops, dry goods and haberdasheries by 7:00 pm;
• spirit license premises by 9:00 pm;
• service stations by 10:00 pm;
• clubs and fast food outlets by 10:00 pm;
• pharmacies by 10:00 pm
• churches by 10:00 pm.
Additionally, the police have cautioned the public to be in full adherence of these restrictions and advise that violators will be prosecuted.
