Woman dies, three men hospitalised after car, truck crash
TRELAWNY, Jamaica — A woman is dead and three men rushed to hospital following a motor vehicle crash on the Meliá Braco main road in Trelawny yesterday afternoon.
Details are sketchy but reports are that the crash, which involved a silver Honda motor car and a truck, took place after four o’clock during rainfall.
A reported eyewitness to the incident said that the driver of the motor car was travelling from the direction of Ocho Rios towards St James when he apparently lost control of the vehicle. The car reportedly drifted from the left lane into the path of a truck travelling in the opposite direction.
Both drivers of the truck and car, as well as a passenger from the car, were taken to hospital.
