Javada feels brand new
JAVADA has high expectations for his latest project Feel Brand New EP.
Released on March 30 via Austria-based Irievibrations Records, the nine-track set features songs, including Always on My Mind, Shuda Neva, Searching, On & On and Love the Irie Vibes.
“If you love authentic reggae music and 1990s dancehall, then you’re going to love this EP,” the singjay told the Jamaica Observer‘s weekly Splash magazine.
The artiste says while he has no immediate plans to release an album, he will be putting in more work by releasing singles and music videos.
Later this year, Javada will embark on the Feel Brand New EP promo tour of Europe and South America.
Javada (given name Nevada Myrie) is originally from east Kingston. He later relocated to Portmore in St Catherine.
Having developed an early appreciation for music, Javada said his aim is to impact the world positively through it. In 2011, he started his musical journey as Loucrative. He later changed his name to Javada after linking with the Subkonshus Music label.
Five years later, he was featured on Latin singer Enrique Iglesias’ Duele El Corazon, which reached number 86 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
He is known for tracks, including Wake Up Beside You, Seh Di Werd, and Ooh Na Na Na featuring Christopher Martin.
