Spicy Hill move closer to leaders
DANIEL TOWN, Trelawny — Spicy Hill SC moved to within four points of leaders Duanvale FC in Zone Two of the Trelawny Football Association’s Grandeur Transportation Services/ Monymusk Rum Major League on Thursday, after beating Daniel Town 4-0 in a rescheduled second-round game at Daniel Town.
Jermaine Cato scored twice for Spicy Hill late in the second half as they beat Daniel Town for the second time in this season and improved to 15 points, opening up a four-point gap on third-placed Coopers Pen in the process.
Spicy Hill scored three goals in the final 19 minutes of the game, after leading 1-0 from the 20th minute through a goal from Johnoy McIntosh.
Cato got the first of his double in the 71st minute to make it 2-0, Nathan Brown made it 3-0 in the 79th minute, and Cato completed in brace in the 89th minute.
