Penn Relays 2018: STETHS, Calabar and JC book spots in 4x800m final
KINGSTON, Jamaica — St Elizabeth Technical High School (STETHS), Calabar and Jamaica College won their respective heats to book their spots in the 4x800m final on a rainy day two at the 2018 Penn Relays currently underway at University of Pennsylvania’s Franklin Field in Philadelphia.
Jauavney James of STETHS, who collected the baton from Shemar Salmon, led his team to the fastest qualifying time of 7.50.25s.
Meanwhile, Kimar Farquarson and Dugion Blackman anchored the Calabar and Jamaica College team respectively to a first place finish.
The final of the event is slated for tomorrow.
