Weather Update: Sunny skies today

KINGSTON, Jamaica — In the local forecast today sunny and windy conditions are expected this morning islandwide, according to the Meteorological (Met) Service of Jamaica.

This afternoon should expect isolated showers and thunderstorms across north western parishes, while tonight should be mainly fair.

There is currently a trough across the island that is expected to linger throughout the weekend.
