Fast-rising deejay Vanzo is trying to make his name in the industry with his latest single News.

“I am very focused and determined right now. It’s about putting in the work smartly and that’s what I am doing,” he said.

He explained the concept for the song.

“If some man no carry news them can’t get a woman,” noted Vanzo.

Released in March, the single is produced by Mama Africa Records and distributed by Zojak World Wide.

“The feedback has been great, thus far. Everybody has been telling me that they love the song and it has been getting crazy love, especially in the streets and social media. I have been getting air plays from some generous disc jocks,” said Vanzo.

Plans for shooting an accompanying video are in the works.

Vanzo said he’s putting the finishing touches on a yet-to-be-titled EP. The eight-track set is being produced by Jammy “Jam 2” James. A release date is yet to be set.

The artiste is eager to share more of his music to the Jamaican market and the rest of the world.

“I would like my music to target everyone who listens to music. Most of my songs are clean because I want a wide fan base not just the hardcore set,” said Vanzo.
