Walking Trophy , the hit single from rapper/dancehall artiste Hood Celebrityy, continues to make inroads on various Billboard charts. The song entered the R&B Hip Hop Airplay chart at number 40. Over on the Reggae Digital Song Sales chart, it moves up to number11, having peaked at number seven a few weeks ago.

Hood Celebrityy (given name Tina Pinnock) is from Portmore, St Catherine. She migrated to New York during her teenage years.

In 2015 she made her recording debut with the song Wine Pon It.

Hood Celebrityy has been driven by the sounds of legendary artistes. One of her major musical influences is Vybz Kartel.

“Vybz Kartel’s music has been a major influence towards my artistry. He is a genius. He can make music about any topic. Not all artistes can do that. His music motivates and uplifts my spirit and that is exactly how I want to impact fans with my music,” she said.

Kartel is currently serving a life sentence for murder.

In September 2017, Hood Celebrityy EP Trap Vs Reggae peaked at number nine on the Billboard Reggae Album chart.
