Cabana Beach Daze set to sizzle at Blue Waters
COOPER’S PEN, Trelawny — Cabana Beach Daze All White Day Soiree has quickly cemented its place on western Jamaica’s entertainment calendar as one of the ‘must-do parties’ of the year.
The scenic Blue Waters Beach Club in Cooper’s Pen on the coast of Trelawny is once again set to be transformed in a sea of white on May 20 as the third staging of the much-anticipated event unfolds.
The organisers are promising subtle tweaks that will move the entertainment dial even higher than before.
“We looked at last year’s production and decided to improve on the aspects that our patrons complimented. We have added more LED screens, shopped for the best DJs to give that high-energy party experience, and gone above and beyond with our food options.
Last year we added crab as part of our options, as crabs were in the season, and it was a big hit, so this year we are putting special plans in place for all crab lovers,” explained Warren Clarke, director of Hundred Promotions.
“We have some really wonderful sponsors on board — Ciroc, G H Mumm and Grace Kennedy — and they are promising some exciting additions to the party. We are excited about this year as we have done the groundwork for an awe-inspiring party,” added Clarke.
Party controls have been entrusted to DJ Crazy Neil, Nicco, Chromatic and Kurt Riley. Gates are set to open at 2:00 pm and the show is scheduled to end seven hours later.
